LICENSING & STATE AUTHORIZATION

We know starting a licensed home care agency in California can feel daunting given the state's reputation for complex regulations. But take heart! The licensing experts at Waiver Consulting Group (WCG) make the process as smooth and simple as possible.

Unlike many states, California requires licensing for all in-home care providers - even those offering basic non-medical services like homemaking, errands and companionship care. Operating without a license comes with steep penalties.

The good news is that WCG has decades of experience guiding agencies through California's licensing process. We handle every detail for your licensure application with the Department of Social Services, maximizing your chances of approval. Our advisors also ensure you meet requirements from the Public Health Department, California's second regulatory body over home care.

With our support, California home care entrepreneurs can turn their passion for senior care into a rewarding, compliant business. We help you avoid common pitfalls and navigate the state's complex web of rules strategically. WCG becomes your ally, allowing you to focus on what matters most - delivering outstanding care.

Don't let California's reputation for red tape deter your dreams of starting a home care agency. With Waiver Consulting Group as your licensing partner, you can successfully establish your business with peace of mind. Contact us today to begin the journey!

PROVIDER ENROLLMENT

Streamline Your Path to Getting Paid for The Services You Provide

Provider enrollment is the vital process of ensuring that providers like yourself can request payment from insurance payers. Whether you're a Medicaid, Medicare, or private insurance provider, we offer comprehensive services to simplify and expedite your enrollment journey.

Medicaid Provider Enrollment

Imagine Medicaid as a program that helps people afford healthcare services. To participate in this program as a healthcare provider, you need to go through a process called Medicaid provider enrollment. It's like getting your official entry ticket. This process ensures that you meet specific requirements and qualifications, so you can offer services covered by Medicaid, allowing eligible patients to access your care while getting reimbursed for your services.

Medicare Provider Certification

Think of Medicare as another program that provides healthcare coverage, but for a different group of people. To become a trusted part of this program, service providers must go through Medicare provider certification. It's like earning a seal of approval from the Federal Government through the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Certification means you meet strict standards and can provide services covered by Medicare, ensuring you receive payments for the care you deliver.

Private Payer/Insurance Credentialing

When it comes to private health insurance companies, each has its own set of rules and requirements. Credentialing with private payers is like joining an exclusive club. You need to prove that you're qualified and meet their specific criteria to bill and get paid for the services you offer through their insurance plans.

ACHC Accreditation

Picture ACHC accreditation as a gold star for your healthcare agency. It's like being recognized for your commitment to providing top-notch care. Accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) shows that your agency meets high-quality standards and follows all the rules and regulations. It's an assurance to your clients and partners that you're dedicated to delivering safe and effective healthcare services.

The Joint Commission Accreditation

The Joint Commission accreditation is like the ultimate badge of honor in healthcare. Think of it as a stamp of excellence. When your healthcare facility or organization earns this accreditation, it means you've met incredibly high standards for client safety and the quality of care you provide. It's a way to tell your clients and their loved ones that they can trust you with their health and well-being because you're committed to delivering top-quality care.
